At the ISLANDS OF CONSCIOUSNESS exhibition at the Yayasan Bali Purnati Center For The Arts, my works from the series Journey I-IV, which was created in Ubud in February 2019, as part of the BecomeBecome artist's residence, was shown.
The creative process associated with the implementation of Journey I-IV was a multi-stage, inspired by the meditative and reflective nature of the residence, the local atmosphere and traditional artistic techniques (batik and natural, organic pigments), landscape and interest in human energy expressed through his body.
Other artists invited to take part in a transdisciplinary residence that ended with an international symposium and exhibition also exhibited their works: Amy Bunker (US), Nat Ma (Australia), Janet Lee (US), Chian-Yun (Taiwan), Andrea Traldi (Italy / Spain), Pudji Utomo (Indonesia), Sanja Hurem (Bosnia / Germany), Carly Ptak (US), Brahna Yassky (US), Julia Vasko (Singapore), Marion Wasserman (US), Filipa Tojal (Portugal / Japan), Anastacia Drake (US), Sanne Clifford (Netherlands).
